What Did You Learn?

I just got back from taking a week off to get rejuvenated from all the energy spent on getting ready for this year's Day of Healing. One of my favorite parts of the Day of Healing is hearing all the cool things you learned that day. So share with me and others some of the things you took away from that day.

The Clock is Wrong

The Day Before

I am up early doing the last minute lists. My OCD stuff coming out:) I doubt if too many of you are even aware of our blog yet. We are announcing it at the Day of Healing but i did send out emails about it to the Day of Healing email list and our church.

If you happen to have time and stumbled on this, I would love to know what it is like for you as you get ready to join us Saturday.

2 days before Day of Healing

It is Thursday, 2 days before the Day of Healing and we are really excited so many people have responded to the Day of Healing mailings. We have over 900 planning to be with us. Over 80 volunteers are busily preparing to make this a great day for each of you who are planning to be with us.

Our hope for Saturday is you will experience the love, respect and acceptance that wherever you are in this journey called life is fine with us. You don't have to have it all together. I surely don't - ask my wife, kids and administrative assistants:) We want to come alongside you find ways to encourage and nurture you as you keep finding new ways of being and relating that will give you the life you want.

Gotta run, a few more things to do to make this a "safe place" for everyone on Saturday.
